I studied Sports Development and fitness at Harrogate College which included nutritional and weight management development achieved level 3 in anatomy and physiology through a Central YMCA course. I then joined The Academy Health & Fitness Club in Harrogate as a Personal Trainer working there for 3 years with a wide range of people from young fitness enthusiasts to the middle-aged and elderly seeking to improve their general fitness and enhance their lives. Following my time at The Academy I became self-employed working with a range of individuals including:-

An Olympic High Jumper
A national wheelchair champion in 100m/200m/400m/800m
Semi-professional footballers, rugby players, tennis and basketball players
World Champion downhill cyclists
Junior sprinters

This experience over 9 years has broadened my skills to include the improvement of individuals running techniques and train people in successfully running distances from 5K to half and full marathons. Additionally, it has led me to take a balanced view on training working on weaknesses as well as improving on strengths based on dynamic movements to help my clients achieve their goals.

In 2010 I attended the Sylvia Brearly Harrogate School of Massage qualifying as a massage therapist. Over the years I have dealt with rehabilitation following serious injury, sports injuries and offered my clients treatment to ease the general wear and tear of modern life. I have worked closely with other experienced sports therapists and masseurs to improve my skills and techniques and offer a broad service to my clients

In the summer of 2016 I worked at the World Cup of Ultimate Frisbee with the Australian team as part of the support therapy team providing pre game, during and post-game stretches, warm-up, cool down hands-on therapy.
